Curtain rods and curtains are not just for windows. Yes, That is what was used to skirt my table. I love no sew projects and quick results! Not enough color yet. I have an idea for the wall above the table, but I need to finish up the painting around the windows before I start another project I had this jewelry organizer and thought it would make a great place to store some of my beads. I was thinking about that plastic you can buy by the yard. So many things can be organized with pockets, and that way I can customize it to my needs. So much to do and not enough hours in the day!

you are a lucky lady to have a husband who loves you more than bright colors
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for one of those organizers forever! I'm hoping to find one to organize stamps. Miles and miles of stamps!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Do you use latex paints on your furniture, too? (ie the yellow on the workbench)
Hi Everwild,
ReplyDeleteIt is great for organizing all kind of things and that is what made me think of the plastic Walmart sells by the yard. I think I am going to try to make something similar. I am painting the tables with latex enamel, so I can scrub them down when they need it. I usally use eggshell or satin finish. If something is too shiny for me I will hit it with a little steelwool to take the shine down.
You are a wild wicked women!! Love the colors and what you are doing. Wish I could be so brave? I'm enjoying the progress pictures. Have fun
ReplyDeleteHello there! I came by to see your new blog several days ago and wasn't able to comment.
