I just love hearts! I have a large window above my kitchen sink and I want to make lots of beaded hearts to hang for Valentines Day. I need to make many, so I needed them to be fairly simple and fast and this is what I came up with. While making them I thought of some other uses for them and will share that with you in a future post.
18 gauge Dark Annealed Wire was used, but any 18 gauge will work
Added single
beads
and wrapped
wire around heart and randomly
wrapped seed
beads also
It was faster to do all the little clusters and then go back and add the larger beads.
These are pretty I can't wait to see them in the window, what a great idea to hang them!
ReplyDeleteI love heart shaped things. I have all manner of hearts throughout my house, that you don't realize until you start thinking about them. This will definitely work with my decor. By the way, really glad to see you posting again. Hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteLovely! They look relatively complicated, but really would be easy to make - thank you so much for the tut!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to pop back and thank you for visiting my blog and commenting! Yep, I'm taking my cave room/studio shift very slowly! Decided not to put pressure on myself and when it gets done, it gets done LOL
ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to tell you how much I love the head wraps you are doing! Gorgeous work and so bohemian and artsy looking!
