Surf and Sand

It has been a while since my last post. I have been taking a little time to stop and smell the roses and play in the surf and sand. I have been in the studio and coming up with new things that I hope to get published. I would like to share them, but I just recently read an article that said if you are trying to get things published it is best not to put it up on your blog. I am also working on instructions to go along with each project and that is the reason for not spending much time blogging. It is harder to tell how to do something than it is to do it. I am a visual learner, so I am taking lots of picture to go with the instructions. A step by step in pictures! I definitely enjoy designing more than telling how I do it. I will get back into blogging soon, but you would just not believe how beautiful the ocean is right now. The water is crystal clear and just so refreshing in this 90 degree weather we are having. I love Florida, but it does get hot and sticky and when that happens there is only one place to be. I wake up and pack my lunch and grab the umbrella because I have to take something to work on so I do not feel like I am wasting my time. The DH thinks I am a workaholic and I have no idea how to relax. He might be right, but I am trying.

Ah, the ocean sounds amazing. I would so love to live near the ocean. My sister does in Vancouver and it is such a treat when I visit her to walk along the shore, or just sit on her deck and breathe in the air.

    Enjoy it!

  6. Sounds like you are busy. I agree with you about the writing of instructions...that is the hardest bit. I'd rather have show someone hands-on. Enjoy the beach!

  7. Kim, thanks for visiting my blog earlier today! I'm happy that you enjoyed your visit and the news about the Library of Congress images! They've got great stuff although you may have to dig a little bit. Another source is the New York Public Library! Have fun! Hope you're still enjoying the beach. Hugs, Terri xoxo
