I am making fun and funky headbands. I am going to add beads to the braided pieces that are hanging down to just add a little sparkle. I have always frosted my hair and my roots are a little too long and this is a great way to hide that fact. I took the pic down in scale so you would not see how much gray is mixed in those roots.lol I thought you might enjoy seeing the idea before it became reality.
The color of the ocean has just been amazing and so calm. I have enjoyed it so much this year.
I added this picture to the post so you could see how the studio is stacking up with stuff. See that table in the background it is already a mess and I'm not even finished getting things in order.

I love the crocheted headbands. The hanging tassels add so much FUN to the head piece. I could use a few myself right now to hide lots of grays. I need my roots done again real bad. LOL!
ReplyDeleteOooooo . . . what a great, creative way to disguise the need for a touch-up! Leave it to you to come up with a super idea! Am happy to hear that you're enjoying your summer. The color of the ocean is amazing, and I'm pea-green with a touch of envy! Hope you have a great weekend! Hugs, Terri :)
ReplyDeleteLove the headband. Shows what a little old hippie you really are. Love the color of the water. Take care and keep having fun in the sun.
ReplyDeleteWow, very cool, the beach looks fantastic, I haven't been to the beach yet this year, should probably take a ride, any suggestions which beach I should visit?

Why the heck do you have gray hair???? Your way to young to have grey hair???? I don't get it? But I certainly love the headband. It reminds me of my Hippie days too. I'm still an old hippie and I should buy one of these from you?? Are they for sale? Let me know girl cause my clock is ticking :)
