Thank you so much for all the comments on my last post! I love painting! I have not posted much because other things needed my attention. When life gets in the way of creating it can be very frustrating, but after raising a family you learn to roll with the punches.
My kitchen is a work in progress. The below pic is a buffet, but I took off the top and put a 1920's side wash sink in. I decided to go with a little black and white theme. I finished painting it last night and hopefully will be able to give it a light antiquing tonight. This is a little cabinet that sits above my stove. This piece has already been antiqued, but still needs a little more highlight on the roses and I also need to add the glass knobs and it will be finished.I will share more pictures when it's done. I wanted my kitchen to be pieced together with my junking finds. It is very primitive in a sense. I have no dishwasher and no garbage disposal, but it's a workable space and that is all that matters to me. When not in the studio the kitchen is my next favorite place to hang out. I am ready for the weather to get a little cooler, so I feel like cooking. Summer for me is salads and sandwiches.
