What to do when your stuck inside and feeling a little blue? Let's go visit a lace museum! Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles Look at those beautiful gloves! Irish Lace is one of my favorites. White yo yo quilt with rick rack lace. I just love the combination of the two. I can just imagine wearing these beautiful dresses! My head is spinning with ideas of leather and lace!
These dresses are fabulous! I have a little purse in Irish Crochet I picked up in an antique store years back for next to nothing. I had to rescue it, the work was incredible and I loved the egg like dangles. It is black, faded and the silk lining was only shreds, but I love it. I also love all your beaded creations, you inspire me. I have been playing with making a beaded cuff bracelet and am going to do some beaded purses-small ones. Its like making a collage, I don't really plan it, I just start and keep on going.
These are all beautiful. I used to love wearing lace. I think I stopped when I gained so much weight. That's good incentive right there. When I lose 20 pounds, I'll treat myself to something lacy. Sorry you're stuck inside, but I'm sure it was temporary. Take care and try to stay stress free during the holiday season. xoxo Susan
What an amazing blog you have! You are truly gifted. Thank you for your visit to Ladybug Creek. I appreciated your comments. I'll be using your fruitcake recipe this Christmas. My recipe calls for coconut which some people do not care for. Yours looks scrumptious! I'll be back. I'm your newest follower. Karen Ladybug Creek
